Loneliness in a Vacuum
Weir - Face
I've been running insomniatic lately, and not in the good productive way. Work has been attempting full-scale manslaughter on my soul, and between that and the whole 'back to school' thing I've gotten nothing fannish done.

I even had to burn my one 'opt out' for [info]atlantis_lvw. At least I can say Not Dead Yet on that front, though. My confidence in myself is slightly better than it might otherwise be. I'll get my entries up over here eventually, I swear.

So, yeah. Not getting my [info]sparky_sparks challenge in this month; it's just not happening. Which is a shame, because I had such hopes for my not!BLE fic. That's going to be written anyway, I've just given up on when. Same with the sequel to Gone for a Soldier. It's somewhere on the 'to do' list just past 'Regain My Sanity'. So, um, no promises.

Fandom? Is a lot more work than I thought it was. At least my [info]sga_secondary prompts look interesting.

Weir - Bound and Determined
Well, I now have a title for the sequel to Gone for a Soldier:

In the Ranks of Death You Will Find Him

That's some percentage of the battle, I'm sure.

Silent Night
Chuck Campbell, the unnamed Gate Tech in Stargate Atlantis (Often referred to as "Tech!Chuck" or "Sgt. Campbell"), has passed Craig Veroni (Peter Grodin) in appearances and lines in said show.

It's amazing what can happen when your character doesn't die.

Mr. Campbell's character still has yet to be named.

Um. Dude. Wow.

I just read the No Man's Land review done by [info]mspooh (which can also be found on [info]zeropointsnark).

I'm really not sure what to say, except Wow.

Encyclopedia Atlantica

From the Encyclopedia Atlantica

Ancient Culture - Accountability )
Encyclopedia Atlantica
The Encyclopedia Atlantica began as a compendium of works on the various cultures that sprang up from the populations seeded in the Pegasus Galaxy by those known by the titles: The Ancestors, The Ancients, and The Gate-Builders.

As time passed, articles were added on topics ranging from Ascended Culture to alternative (and creative) uses for Zero Point Modules. Every effort has been made to note the original authors, but due to the age of portions of the work it simply is not always possible.

Blanket Disclaimer for the Encyclopedia Project:
The thousand & one cultures of the Pegasus Galaxy, Atlantis herself, the Ancients, the Wraith, Chaya Sar, and anything else that bears more than passing resemblance to SGA are copyright MGM et all. No profit is being made from this endeavor, although the contributing authors claim ownership of any cultures detailed in the work that are not explicitly from the show.

Chaya - Name
The Prime Directive is a direct result of the Ascended's Policy of Non-Interference, which in turn is a direct result of Miyela going on a philosophical binge one night after drinking entirely too much Night-Blooming Archen Tea.

Someone explain to me how it wound up on the rule books. Please.
